I am talkin about the basics of computing - basics since the first digital computer. Yet here I am writing English in a form that can be read by anyone anywhere in the world at any time - and I can read their writings. I can use this space to transcend barriers and take in the influences of peoples and cultures from this new, connected, society. This revolution is influencing the paradigms, in me and others, that have been programmed into our personal computers (brains) by our upbringing. Will the end result be a shared understanding or increased conflict?
